much of today’s furniture is made to be replaced. Mass-produced pieces often rely on composite materials and short-term trends that fail both aesthetically and structurally over time. Our work takes the opposite approach: we design for permanence.

The majority of our designs are crafted from stainless steel – a durable, sustainable material that maintains its beauty and integrity for decades. And when our products eventually reach the end of their useful life, their INGREDIENTS remain fully recyclable.
meet the maker
ODH was founded by Owen Hale, a mechanical engineer with 15 years of experience designing high-stakes systems across tech, green energy, and defense research. Owen created ODH to strike a truer balance between art and science, beauty and precision. Partnering closely with architects and interior designers, ODH brings elite technical rigor to bespoke architectural projects, turning complex engineering headaches into seamless, elegant design solutions.
Owen has been fabricating since he was old enough to hold a welding torch. Today, he applies that lifelong experience to create work that merges technical precision with thoughtful design. Outside the studio, Owen enjoys windsurfing, backpacking, and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
